Hi Nick, my name's Yasmin and I happened to come across your blog when googling about studying abroad in Hong Kong! I've just been offered by my uni to study at Hong Kong Polytechnic (like you!) for three months, and although I applied with enthusiasm, now that they've said yes, I've got cold feet. I'm genuinely really terrified to go for it! :(
I was wondering if you would be kind enough to email me any advice or experiences you've had in Hong Kong that may help me out somehow. I know it would be fantastic to go, but I feel like I'd be more comfortable in a country like Australia, but what's the point in going if I feel comfortable? Or am I just making things difficult for myself?.. lol, as you can see, my mind is all over the place.
